We believe in privacy and education.
In 2018, with the publication of Mastering Monero, the team behind it started to imagine to build a company to publish technical and fictional books about privacy, and computer science. In the few years after the publication, we realized that people have been plagarized and have difficulties at finding what privacy really is and how it applies on computer science.
People would argue that printed books are dead, and people won’t read anything beside for that Facebook meme. The “dead” thing was predicted for Bitcoin, and then for Monero.
Our first mission is education. Criminals, scammers, fake projects, and those damn buzzwords (IoT, blockchain, AI) have ruin the computer science industry, focusing everyone’s efforts on “make more money”, at any price. While we recognize that earnings are important for our society, we believe that many people went out of their head. One of the main reason is that people did not know what they got into.
Some highly-quality books are considered masterpiece in industry, however for some reasons people won’t even try to read them. Phrases like “Matrix sort is faster than Merge sort” are left there, only to make the reader smile and not contribute to extend human’s knowledge.
Our books are thought for their simplicty, and objectivity.
